Developer's diary

08:40 - aereo, finalmente!
18:00 - taxi e decollo
21:40 - apertura canopy in volo, audio spettacolare
22:40 - stallo (in realta' vite)
24:50 - esplosione al suolo (ancora primitiva secondo me)
28:10 - variazione prop pitch in volo
29:00 - atterraggio, si vedono bene anche le ombre in cockpit che non sono ancora del tutto soddisfacenti

Your il2sturmovik.com login and password will be used to sign in to the game. At the beginning (first 2-3 months) only online play will be available - you will be temporarily connected to our server so we could gather all valuable technical data about the game's performance. Off-line login will become available later. It’s important to remember that lots of in-game content and features will be added bit by bit and every episode will bring you something new and exciting.

si potrà volare soltanto su server hostati da loro in giornate stabilite (*), no volo offline, no voliamo insieme tra di noi.

(*)
leggo sui forum ufficiali che si volerà soltanto in alcune giorni alla settimana, il problema è che non trovo la fonte ufficiale :(

As it was said before that about 30% of the game is now ready. And in the very beginning it may bring you not so fun moments and complicated moments. Regardless, we risk a lot by doing what we’re doing and allowing the public to play such an early build. As has been said by myself, Jason and Zak and others on the forums, we believe that our approach to this process is the responsible approach that will provide maximum results and success for the finished product. You get to experience what normally only the internal team gets to experience which is something new for us and we think for the genre. And we have no intention of failing our end goal of making you a quality combat flight-simulation. All we ask is that our customers allow us to do our job in the easiest and fastest way possible. This will be a fun time where we all get to experience BOS for the first time.

Our current estimation for 72 hours per week sessions is two months, after that early access will be provided 5 days a week with breaks for version updates which take time to prepare and server maintenance conducted.

The Mission Editor will become available in the Spring. Until that you’ll be provided with missions that we’ll be designing for you.

The first session will include the LaGG-3 and a 500x50km test map. The general Stalingrad map will be finished by January. For the first 2-3 weeks all aircraft are going to have no weaponry, so you’ll need to concentrate on piloting, game settings, input settings and game performance on your PCs. By December you’ll get your ammo and we’ll start trying out various sorts of un-lockable mods. In a word, our program for the upcoming events will be appreciated by true combat sim lovers. I’ll give you further details in the next Dev Blog.

Next Friday you'll get the previously known LaGG-3 and Bf-109 F-4, but this time they will get their firepower back. We'll setup 7.62mm and 20mm weapons with historically adequate AR and HE rounds. AI-controlled planes are going to be the targets for you. They will have weapons as well, but they shouldn't be a problem for skilled pilots.

Please keep as note - Bf109 now have limited time of overload engine run - 1 minute on 2700 and 5 minutes on 2500. If yuo will maintain longer - engine damage becomes possible.
Il2 and Ju87 are also have their overload limitations. Lagg3 have no overload mode.

Also, you may to turn on Auto-RPM-limiter in difficulty settings to keep these timings automaticaly.
