Joystick response settings

Messaggio da 72sq_Popale »

Questa spiegazione mi è stata utile
for aileron axis:-

sensitivity- set to 0 and it's the equivalent of '100's across the board' in old IL2- ie full sensitivity
set to 1 this 'dampens' the response, making it less sensitive around the centre,

0% deadzone determines the centre deadzone, 0 is no deadzone, 1 is maximum deadzone,

100% deadzone determines the 'end stops'. 0 mean to get maximum ingame deflections full travel of the stick is required, 1 requires alot less travel to reach full deflection.

the 'out' bar shows the output of the stick as read by game engine- ie after any 'curves/deadzones are applied.

the 'in' bar shows the 'raw input' from your joystick.

with all 3 settings at 0 the input and output bars should match when you move the selected axis. If the out bar doesn't move to the extremities try adding some 100% deadzone.
If the input doesn't go to full extent I'd suggest checking your stick's callibration.

this setup applies for the 3 'major axes'- elevator, aileron. rudder.
most other axes are the same except they have no sensitivity slider.

throttle is different having 5 left hand sliders and they interact with each other to a degree.
As I understand it ,
0% position sets the position for 0% throttle in game
0% deadzone sets the deadzone at 0% end of throttle travel- both these probably best at 0
100% position sets the position for 100% throttle ingame (not including any throttle operated boost/wep) best at 1?
1005 deadzone and max% deadzone affect the way this wep cuts in- notice the output goes to 1,1 (full wep). 1.0 out = full (normal) throttle.

always hit apply after making changes (back reverts to previous).
when happy with a setup use the save as button.

SO, for your slow aileron problem try sensitivity at 0, deadzone 0 and maybe a little 100% deadzone (no more than 0.1?)- this should give you maximum in game deflection.

this help?
